The job
Brunton Shaw UK has been manufacturing high-performance wire rope for more than 130 years. At their works in Worksop they brought us in to capture their new wire rope testing machine, a major investment for the business. At the heart of the facility is a 2,000 MT (2,000-tonne) test bench, a substantial piece of engineering that lets Brunton Shaw proof-load and destruction-test wire rope and high-performance HMPE fibre slings in-house, to the exacting standards their clients demand.
What it replaced
Ground-level photographs of a machine this size, which cannot show its full length or how it sits within the works.
What we did
In a focused two-hour visit we gathered aerial video and photography of the machine and the wider site.
