Brunton Shaw UK has been manufacturing high-performance wire rope for more than 130 years. At their works in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, they brought us in to capture their new wire rope testing machine — a major investment for the business.
At the heart of the facility is a 2,000 MT (2,000-tonne) test bench — a substantial piece of engineering that lets Brunton Shaw proof-load and destruction-test wire rope and high-performance HMPE fibre slings in-house, to the exacting standards their clients demand.
In a focused two-hour visit we gathered aerial video and photography of the machine and the wider site. Brunton Shaw then used the footage to produce their own promotional video of the new facility.
